    While the RAV 4 is a more expensive vehicle, the 'outfitting' or 'bells and whistles' are fairly low. Buyers need to remember they are paying more (than they would for a similar car of a different model) for the reliability and popularity of the vehicle.

    Looking for a reliable, fuel efficient car, look at the Toyota hybrid range. Rav4 is one of the less boring looking of them.
